Kendra, unable to find sleep in her new old home, had spent the night exploring the keep. Winding her way through familiar corridors, revisiting old ghosts. No corner of the keep had remained unvisited, not even the dungeons, now clean and devoid of any of the instruments her father had favoured, but still heavy with the echoes of loss and pain. In the kitchen, she heard the bellowing of a ladle wielding cook who had loved nothing more than to work her to the bone; Kieran's chamber..an older brother as ruthless and ambitious as her father was cold and start, not any of their belongings had found their way there. And the library..the library where the Laird spent so much of his time, where ancient tomes and manuscripts on everything from fishing to demon hunting could be found. And something called 'bdsm'..or so Alex had said. Heat still rose to her cheeks as she remembered that kiss, hidden as they were in the stacks.
Now it was time to explore the outside and Kendra started her morning on the ramparts, watching as the pale disc of the sun rose over the mountains, a sight she had seen many times, a sight she would never tire of. She stood motionless near the parapet, heavy cloak pulled tightly around her, face greeting the sun, a serene smile faintly curving her lips as she greeted Scotland.

-Adrian had not slept well at all either. It could have been the asence of you from the bed, or maybe it was the fact that forwhatever reason this keep just didnt feel like home yet. It was as if the keep was giving off an aura of unease. He felt like he was some kind of intruder, and becuase of this. at least Adrian hope it was because of this, his nightmares had come back in full force. So Adrian had decided to explore as well, but unlike you he explred the lands beyond the keep. He had roused the two pups from slumber, and had raken them out hunting through the new territory, exploring the rolling hills, and the loch that was just a stones throw away-
-The keep might not be welcoming him, but scotland as a whole did. The air was shar, and clean..and the very land seemed to vibrate with a primal energy. It was wild..and both host and faolan seemed to be adjusting nicely to the new surroundings-
-As the sun was rising Adrian turned towards home, leaving the pups to find there own way, confident that they would return. As he approached the keep he saw you..a lone figure standing on the ramparts, the rising sun lighting your face. Soon enough he two was on the ramparts, hands sliding around your middle as he pulled you into the warmth of his arms- You have been up late

Her eyes opened as his presence slipped into her consciencness as he strolled towards the keep, head turning towards him, the smile still on her face. Then here was there and she leaned into him, his hands resting on the gentle slope of her ever growing belly. She was only three months along but already there was no doubt she was carrying. Her dresses still hid it well if worn loosely, but tight lacings and corsets were uncomfortable, and when wearing nothing at all the babe was no long simply a small, hard bulge nestled between her hipbones.
She sighed deeply, contentedly and nodded slowly, eyes on the landscape beyond.

The spike of lust accompanied by that thought made Kendra laugh and she looked at Adrian over her shoulder, gaze dark and laden with meaning.
i'd Keep yer hands tae yerself lad or I'll hae ye lashed tae my bed from sundown tae sunup, Kendra flashed him a pretty smile, let go of his hand and lifted her skirts, carefully making her way down the steep, dark steps and blinking against the brilliance of the morning light as she pushed open a heavy, reenforced door and stepped into the courtyard.
The door was held open for Adrian, then she ducked past him and hurried to the well, standing at what was nearly the very center. Small hands gripped the stone ledge and she raised herself on the tip of her toes to peer down into the hole.
